My name is Michelle and I’m writing this letter on behalf of Willow River Farm.  My husband and I just recently
made a decision to add a Miniature Australian Shepard to our family.  Through researching the internet we
found the website of Barb and Greg Wilson at Willow River Farm.  We found the website to be very useful in
aiding us in our search for the perfect little puppy to add to our family.  The website is beautifully done and full
of great information.  We were able to pick our new little puppy when she was only five weeks old through the
wonderful pictures that were posted on the Willow River Farm website.  We put a deposit on our little baby and
enjoyed new pictures of her each week from Willow River Farm keeping us updated as she grew.  It was a
wonderful feeling to have that excitement and connection to our puppy with each new picture.  She was born
on May 15, 2008 her name is “Bella” Blue Jewel and we couldn’t be happier with our new little addition to our
family!

I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my experience at Willow River Farm.  When Bella turned 8
weeks old and it was time for her to come home my husband and I decided that I would fly from Columbus
Ohio to Wisconsin to get her.  We were struggling with the thought of shipping her and I was very interested in
seeing the Sire and Dam of our puppy anyway.  Once I had made my decision to actually visit the farm, Barb
and Greg were very supportive and encouraged me to visit.  I flew in on Tuesday July 15th and arrived at the
farm at about 1:00 p.m.  I was greeted by the Barb, Greg and some of their beautiful Aussies. The farm
property is very nice and the Aussies were all running free and playing.  

It was time for me to meet our little puppy.   Barb and Greg have a great playroom/greeting room setup at the
farm.  It was the perfect place for me and my new little puppy to meet each other and spend time together.  
They allowed me to spend as much time as I wanted with my puppy.  I stayed at the farm for four hours that
day getting to know my puppy, playing, and meeting lots of their other puppies and adult Aussies.  Barb and
Greg were very nice, friendly, accommodating and made me feel very welcome.  

I returned to the farm the next morning and spent an additional three hours at the farm.  Not only did I have a
wonderful experience getting to know my puppy before I had to take her from the only life she had known, I got
to see first hand how wonderful Willow River Farm is and how much Barb, Greg and their kids love their
Aussies.  I saw them take care and interact with their Aussies; everything from turning them out to play as
packs, to filling baby pools and playing with the water hose, and most importantly hugging, kissing and just
loving them.

It was truly a wonderful experience and I had a great time getting to know my puppy, the Wilson family and all
of their beautiful Aussies.
